Congrats are in order for “Orange Is The New Black” star Danielle Brooks. Tuesday, the 29-year-old actress announced that she is pregnant with her first child.
The major revelation was shared on Brooks’ Instagram page by way of a paid sponsorship post for Clear Blue.
“So elated to finally share this news with you all. I’m happily pregnant! @Clearblue #ClearblueConfirmed #clearbluepartner,” the mommy-to-be captioned an image of herself holding a positive pregnancy test.
In her Instagram story, The Color Purple actress revealed that she is 5 months along.
“Counting my blessings with clear results,” she shared. “When one chapter ends, another begins. Super excited to share with you my new beginning. I’m pregnant.”
The announcement comes just a few weeks ahead of the premiere of OITNB’s final season.
